La revista de #educacion se nos hace bilingue. Nº 363

Hoy traemos a este espacio al número  363 de
La Revista de Educación es una publicación científica del Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte español. Fundada en 1940, y manteniendo el título de Revista de Educación desde 1952, es un testigo privilegiado de la evolución de la educación en las últimas décadas, así como un reconocido medio de difusión de los avances en la investigación y la innovación en este campo, tanto desde una perspectiva nacional como internacional. La revista es editada por la Subdirección General de Documentación y Publicaciones, y actualmente está adscrita al Instituto Nacional de Evaluación Educativa de la Dirección General de Evaluación y Cooperación Territorial.
Cada año se publican cuatro números con tres secciones:  Investigaciones, Ensayos y Reseñas. Uno de los números anuales podrá contar con una sección Monográfica con convocatoria pública en esta web. Todos los artículos enviados a las diferentes secciones están sometidos a evaluación externa.
En el primer número del año se incluye un índice bibliográfico, y en el segundo un editorial con la Memoria anual que recoge las principales estadísticas del proceso editor de ese período, los índices de calidad e impacto, así como el listado de revisores externos.

Novedad: A partir de 2014 la Revista de Educación será una una publicación bilingüe. El nuevo modelo responde a los esfuerzos de internacionalización y difusión de sus contenidos. El equipo de la revista considera que es esta una vía para dar a conocer a una audiencia más amplia la investigación de calidad que se realiza en España. Applications of online training: safety training

health-and-safety-trainingThe main benefit of online training when it comes to safety and compliance is that employees can be reached everywhere, all over the world, at any time. One cannot take shortcuts when it comes to safety training and federal mandates, and face-to-face training just won’t cut it when you have employees scattered all over the country, or world for that matter. Safety and compliance training needs to be quickly updated and disseminated to employees quickly and easily – with the minimum of fuss. Online training is the only way a large number or employees in different locations can be reached at once without costing a fortune.

Types of safety training offered by elearning organizations

The subjects covered in safety training programs online varies greatly, depending upon the company and industry. For example, a moving company might want to inform their employees about proper lifting procedures to avoid back injuries, while a medical facility may opt for a blood borne pathogen safety training course.

Generally, online courses offer multimedia presentations of specific safety risk situations or hazards, and can accurately illustrate the proper response.

What are the benefits of safety training online?

The most significant benefit of virtual safety training is the decreased risk of on-the-job injury and accidents. Not only can this lower the risk of costs associated with injury, illness, death, damage to equipment, higher insurance premiums, staff turnover, and also delayed deliveries of products and service – but it can ensure that worker productivity levels remain high. A safety training program protects your company and shows you have adequately trained employees in workplace safety. An insurance company, for example, can examine the safety training program you have made employees complete, and understand whether requirements have been met to protect employees and ensure workplace safety. Safety training can have beneficial impact on any business, no matter how large or small:

c)       Increase productivity: training increases quality of work produced and efficiency in which tasks are completed.

d)      Reduction of costs: fewer work-related injuries or accidents will occur, reducing overall costs (associated with injury, illness, insurance claims etc.).

e)      Risk management: training contributes to the process of identifying, understanding and eliminating risks within the workplace.

Designing The Future classroom. iTEC

Designing the future classroom - Mainstreaming the results of the iTEC project
iTEC, a flagship four-year EC-funded project involving 14 Ministries of Education, has doubled its original target by now involving over 2000 classes across Europe in its future classroom pilots. The project evaluation is also showing an extremely positive impact on students’ knowledge, skills and understanding, and a beneficial effect on teachers, especially on their technology-supported pedagogy, digital competence, and motivation.

Learning Activities for innovative classrooms

The iTEC pilots, now in their fifth and final cycle, have developed Future Classroom Scenarios and Learning Stories and Activities to inspire teachers to change their pedagogical practices with the support of ICT. Learning Activities and Learning Stories have been developed through a participatory design process with teachers. Moreover, European Schoolnet has also delivered an international programme of online and face-to-face training, including courses at the Future Classroom Lab in Brussels on teaching and learning activities for the future classroom.

Supporting students’ knowledge, skills and understanding

The newly published meta-analysis of the evaluation data over the first three cycles shows that the project has had a positive impact on students’ knowledge, skills and understanding – in particular on their 21st century skills, motivation, engagement, attitudes, and learning practices. iTEC has also had a beneficial effect on teachers, having a positive impact on their technology-supported pedagogy, digital competence, and their motivation and attitudes. Almost 90% of teachers agreed that the iTEC process enabled students to become more deeply engaged in their work, and allowed them to undertake more collaborative activities. Teachers observed also a higher student attainment, an increase in student autonomy and independent learning, as well as more opportunities to learn beyond the boundaries of the classroom.

Mainstreaming the iTEC results

"Every Classroom a Future Classroom" conference, taking place on 10-11 October 2013 in Brussels for 150 invited delegates, will look at the challenges involved in up-scaling and mainstreaming innovative teaching and learning practice in order to make every classroom a future classroom. The conference will discuss on scalable processes for the adoption of advanced competencies by teachers, 21st century skills for learners and change management for schools.

Applications of online training: sales training

trainingEffective sales training develops the individual’s skills and builds on existing abilities to ultimately improve business performance through increased productivity and profitability. Good sales training courses can lead to an increase in activity levels, sales volumes and order size. Hoy es domingo, y sin descanso suenan una y otra vez en mi barrio las campanas de las cientos de iglesias q tenemos inscritas en el cuerpo de todo nacido desde el primer día, y aunque en un blog de e-learning esto sería un off-topic para muchos considerenlo como una causa del ESTADO DE EXCEPCIÓN que vivimos en mi pueblo  ..  así que , SI aún quieren comprender este terruño seco y pútrido creado por la nobleza, la curia, el ejército y toda la mafia infecta que gobierna nuestras plazas y calles vean este documental ....fundamental para comprender 1976 y sus previos, y esa #Intransicion que dejaba to atao y bien atao como dijo el SÁTRAPA , aunque FRAGA , otro sátrapa, no quiera condenarlo ... se imaginan a Merkel diciendo que no tiene por qué condenar a Hitler .? ... #asinosva
La lección de esPATRAÑA ... una clase  on line, perfecta y demoledora de historia española, de poesía y de música,.. ah!! y sobre todo de la construcción de una farsa ideológica profunda que asesina no sólo a una familia sino a un pais desde hace siglos con sus falacias de libro de salmos sin contenido real, sino todo lo contrario, ... un ESTADO enfermo y cainita creado, fundado y basado en una ideología que cree que una mujer fue embarazada por un espíritu y que por fumar hierba hay que meter a jóvenes poetas en el MANICOMIO, y que roba a manos llenas mientras condena en sus rezos el robo,  ... basada en el  MOBBING, ACOSO, PERSECUCIÓN y ASESINATO sistemático de cualquier disidencia con aparatos RELIGIOSOS, POLÍTICOS Y CULTURALES basados en la culpabilización y demonización de cualquier cosa que no se ciña a sus DOCTRINAS .. y que robó la religiosidad popular  y su sentido gozoso de una creencia y la SECUESTRO destrozando lo SAGRADO por lo político del poder ... POR UNA CURIA ENFERMA de la IRA DE DIOS:

iNQUISICIÓN, EJÉRCITO, GUARDIA CIVIL, POLICIA, FASCISTAS, FRANQUISTAS, dejando en la cuneta.. judíos, árabes, indios en américa del sur, brujas, rojos, poetas, anarquistas, liberales, republicanos, pensadores , ...simplemente diferentes ...

Hoy la tarea, más que nunca es liquidar ese constructo histórico que es el estado español, pero no por nacionalismos periféricos .. SINO POR SUPERVIVENCIA ... los habitantes de la piel de toro merecen un comienzo nuevo , un futuro posible y de mayor sanidad mental .. será ello posible?

Algérie, Burkina Faso, Cameroun, #mlearning & IBM 5 in 5 [5 enlaces] [5 links]

Hace mucho que no traemos nada a nuestra sección  [5 enlaces] [5 links] ..así que hoy teneis aquí 5 noticias del entorno francófono, africano y anglosajón de interés sobre el entorno TIC y e-learning:

1) "En Algérie, l’horloge TIC n’a pas beaucoup avancé en deux ans" en Magreb Emergent:
La gouvernance numérique ne s’use que si on ne s’en sert pas.

Plus de trois ans après les premières annonces de son lancement, la 3G est enfin arrivée en Algérie. Elle est à mettre dans le très maigre bilan des initiatives officielles dans le domaine des TIC. Contrairement à cette image quasi figée, ce sont les initiatives privées, celles des jeunes en particulier, qui ont plus marqué le paysage TIC des deux dernières années.

Il a fallu attendre le 100e numéro de ce supplément TIC de Maghreb Emergent et du Quotidien d’Oran pour voir la 3e génération de la téléphonie mobile, 3G, lancée en Algérie. C’est l’exemple type du lent déploiement des TIC, dont le programme officiel ne se fixe pas d’objectifs précis à atteindre, ni des limites dans le temps à ne pas dépasser. Depuis qu’on a enlevé le "2013" au programme "e-Algérie", tout le monde aura compris que le vaste chantier prendra tout son temps. Les lenteurs bureaucratiques, les craintes du passage au numérique, et autres freins techniques, empêchent le développement de solutions technologiques déjà disponibles dans des pays bien moins lotis. Quelques initiatives, certes très utiles, annoncées comme de grandes avancées, cachent mal le retard abyssal dans le domaine du paiement électronique.

2) Economie numérique : Plus de 1000 entreprises déclarées dans le domaine des TIC au Burkina en Le faso. net

Le secteur des TIC est en perpétuelle croissance au Burkina et crée des milliers d’emplois directs et indirects. Mais également, la qualité des services offerts fait débat au sein des consommateurs. Le ministre en charge de l’économie numérique, le Pr Jean Kouldiati nous a accordé une interview (en ligne) relativement à ce débat. Semaine nationale de l’Internet, projet e-conseil des ministres, qualité de la connexion Internet et de la téléphonie mobile, 4e opérateur, politique nationale… ont été évoqués. Lisez plutôt.

Economie numérique : Plus de 1000 entreprises déclarées dans le domaine des TIC au Burkina : La SNI 2013 a refermé ses portes le 02 novembre dernier, quel bilan dressez-vous de cette fête de l’internet au Burkina ?
Pr Jean Kouldiati : Je dois dire qu’en dépit des difficultés inhérentes à ce genre d’activités, le bilan de cette dernière édition de la SNI a été globalement satisfaisant. Nous avons réussi l’Organisation des différents segments de la Semaine nationale de l’internet et des autres TIC notamment :
-  la journée officielle de la célébration,
-  la journée sans papier,
-  la journée de solidarité numérique,
-  la journée de logiciel libre et de la sécurité informatique,
-  l’initiation des jeunes à l’outil informatique à travers des formations,
-  la nuit du web qui a permis de récompenser les différents acteurs qui s’investissent dans la promotion des TIC.

3) Cameroun - Télécoms et Tic: Ce que le Cameroun gagne à l'international :: Cameroon en 237 online
ans sa volonté de bénéficier des retombées qui découlent de la participation du Cameroun aux différentes rencontres internationales dans le domaine des télécommunications et des Tic, le Ministère des Postes et des Télécommunications a mis sur pied une commission depuis 2010.

Le Comité de préparation des conférences du secteur des télécommunications et Tic (Precof) chargé d'évaluer les différentes contributions du pays dans ces différentes rencontres. C'est dans cette optique qu'un séminaire d'appropriation des conclusions des conférences internationales du secteur des télécommunications et des Tic a été ouvert hier à Mbalmayo par le ministre des Postes et des Télécommunications (Minpostel) Jean Pierre Biyiti bi Essam. «La préparation scientifique du Cameroun aux rencontres internationales était jusqu'ici insuffisante et les résultats obtenus ne reflétaient pas le contexte et la réalité du pays en matière de télécommunications et de Tic» a souligné le Ministre.

4) From E-Learning to M-Learning: A Different Beast in Bussines 2 community .
  I was doing some consulting with a e-learning company a few years ago when the iPad first came out. We had no idea how it would change the landscape for e-learning. While traditional e-learning programs still have their place, it is not on a mobile device. The constraints and opportunities that come with mobile dictate an entirely new way of looking at how we deliver learning.
Traditional e-learning

This is the way I think of a traditional e-learning program: 30-45 minutes max; linear progression, with branched learning if we want to get fancy; files that can be printed or downloaded for later reference (who want to go back through the course and retake the quizzes just to check up on one concept?), in the best case scenario very little text on screen, with most information delivered through narration with powerful images. A Learning Management System (LMS) tracks the completion of the course and the scores on the quizzes.

5) in GigaOM

IBM is working with the Gwinnett County public schools to test out a system that puts big data and deep learning to work personalizing education for fifth- and sixth-grade math students

On Monday, IBM, as part of its annual 5 in 5  extravaganza  extravaganza, predicted that cloud-based cognitive technology would personalize education for students within five years. Fast forward three days, and voila! IBM unveiled a research project to bring machine learning, predictive modeling and deep content analytics to deliver on that promise. Talk about gaming the system.
IBM is working with Georgia’s Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) system to test out the technology and its thesis that the application of big data analytics and deep learning — which looks at connections and context in different types of data- – can help students learn better. The 12-month project kicked off in September and focuses on 5th and 6th grade math students, said an IBM spokesman. The use of cognitive systems, deep learning and machine data in education, healthcare and other venues will undoubtedly come up at our Structure Data show in March.
